Notes from our Principal
RESULTS
It’s Monday again, and it’s been great speaking with some of you this last week. Once again, our office has seen some great results, and we still remain with a zero percent vacancy. There is such a strong demand for rental properties, so it’s a perfect time to invest for those that may be considering doing so. This last week we rented another property and it achieved $60 higher than the price it had been receiving prior. I also spoke with a representative from Livingstone Council who is trying to combat the demand and seriously are considering it a ‘housing crisis’. The Capricorn Coast is sitting at a higher demand than Rockhampton, and pushing people from the region because the demand can’t be met. If we can assist in any way, please let us know. We are always more than happy to help!
TEAM NIGHT OUT!
I wanted to take the time to thank my staff after the last few months. Unfortunately not all could be there, but it was a well-deserved night none the less. As we all know, this year has been very challenging at the best of times, but regrettably I had a bad fall down stairs and fractured my sacrum (back). Following this, I then had to have a major shoulder operation, which made things difficult to juggle at times. I wanted to give a huge shout out to my team who stepped up, without a question and worked above and beyond over the last few months to ensure things continued smoothly! We’ve realised the power of a team, and what we can achieve together. We also want to thank you, for your patience during this period. It you, that makes us love what we do, and we count ourselves privileged to work with you, and on your behalf. We are looking forward to better days ahead in every area!

How long have you been on Team Elite?
2 1/2 years
Highlight of this Time?
The relationships I’ve created along the way with my clients
Funniest Moment?
I was at a rural property with no reception and couldn’t manage to get access to the house. I had to climb a fence in the pouring rain, only to find out later there was a simple trick to getting the key to work!
Most frustrating part of the job?
It’s such a thank-less job. No matter how hard you try to do your best, it often goes unappreciated.
Why Property Management?
It’s the little things mostly, but honestly at the end of the day, it’s because I wake up every morning happy to go to work & I don’t think too many people get to experience that.
